Who we are - The founders of Hotel & Restaurant "Da Elio"

The Hotel and Restaurant "Da Elio" startes it's activity in 1936

But already before, in it's first setup, it worked ad a pit stop for the horses of chariots driving along moslty for the postal service along Perugia-Orvieto line.

At the very beginning "Da ELio" served only wine and provided few other comforts of the time for pilgrims and travellers

Up to today the management is still on a family basis

In the Restaurant all the typical dishes of Umbria and Tuscany are served such as soups and home made types of pasta, sauces prepared with game, local mushrooms and umbrian truffle

The Hotel and Restaurant "Da Elio" is situated 12 Kilometers away from Fabro motorway Exit and 14 kilometers from Chiusi motorway exit and it is an ideal position for those who want to visit the major centres of cultural-artistic and religious interes of Umbria and Tuscany; "Da Elio" is also part of the millenium route.

Rooms are provided with private bathroom and color TV. There are two dining rooms, two private gardens for cool dinners in the summer
